Where your health records live
Your health records are stored only on your iPhone by default. No sign-up is needed, and Dosia has no server that stores health records. If you turn on iCloud sync, your records sync through your own Apple iCloud account. Your data is included in your device backups, and it is sent anywhere only when you choose to export it or turn on sync.
- iCloud sync (optional): off unless you turn it on. When on, records sync through your own Apple ID and iCloud account.
- Device backups: if you back up your iPhone, your Dosia data is included in that backup, like other app data.
- Export: Dosia creates a PDF treatment report on your iPhone. It leaves your device only if you share it.
- Deleting: you can delete records in the app, or remove all local Dosia data by deleting the app. If iCloud sync was on, the iCloud copy stays until you delete it in your iPhone's iCloud storage settings for your Apple ID.
