Terms of Use

Scope and agreement

These Terms cover the Dosia app, Dosia Pro subscriptions, and the official Dosia website. They are between you and the Dosia app provider identified on the App Store product page (“we,” “us”). Read them before using these services. If you disagree, stop using the relevant service. A paid purchase also requires your express confirmation in Apple's purchase sheet.

The software license for an app obtained through the App Store is governed by the Apple Standard End User License Agreement (Standard EULA). This page supplements that license with Dosia's usage and subscription rules; it does not replace it. Applicable EULA terms govern software licensing, and Apple's terms also govern billing and refunds. Your mandatory legal rights remain protected.

Health and medical boundaries

Dosia helps you record and organize doses, weight, side effects, treatment plans, and reminders, and review trends. It does not provide diagnoses, prescriptions, personalized treatment advice, or emergency care, and does not create a clinician–patient relationship.

Follow medication instructions and advice from qualified healthcare professionals. Exports and doctor reports support conversations; they do not replace clinical assessment. For severe symptoms or an emergency, seek local emergency or medical care immediately rather than waiting for an app reminder or support email.

Your responsibilities

You must be legally able to use the services and enter into this agreement. Obtain a guardian's consent where required by law. Dosia is not designed for children.

• Check imported and entered medications, units, doses, dates, and other data. Errors or omissions can affect displays and estimates.
• Verify actual stock, opening dates, storage conditions, and expiry dates yourself. The app cannot test medication quality or determine whether it is suitable to use.
• Protect your device and Apple Account, and check recipients and content before sharing or exporting health information.
• Only import or share content you are entitled to handle, and respect other people's privacy and rights.

Dosia Pro and automatic renewal

Dosia may offer free features and optional auto-renewing Dosia Pro subscriptions. Available periods (such as monthly, quarterly, or yearly), local prices and currency, included benefits, and offer conditions are shown in the app and Apple's confirmation sheet at purchase. Announced future features are not a promise of currently available benefits.

• Payment: Apple charges the payment method associated with your Apple Account after you confirm. Dosia does not directly collect your payment card details.
• Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Apple normally charges the applicable renewal price within the final 24 hours of that period.
• Trials and offers: These apply only when explicitly offered and you meet Apple's eligibility requirements. Unless canceled in time, a trial or offer converts to paid renewal as disclosed in the confirmation sheet.
• Price changes: Apple provides notice and obtains consent where its rules require it. This page does not replace purchase disclosures or price-change notices.

Cancel, change, or restore

Manage or cancel through “Manage Subscription” in Dosia, or iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting the app or clearing its data does not cancel a subscription. After cancellation, paid benefits usually remain available until the expiry shown by Apple. Refunds or revocations follow the actual Apple transaction status.

The effective date, additional charges, or credits for a plan change follow Apple's confirmation sheet and processing result. Restore purchases using the Apple Account that made the purchase. This restores eligible paid access, not a backup of health records. Confirming access may require a network connection and Apple transaction verification. Refunds, revocations, and expiry update access accordingly.

Subscription expiry itself does not delete saved health records. Premium access changes with your entitlement; manage record backups and recovery as described below. See Apple's cancellation instructions.

Refunds and billing issues

For purchases billed by Apple, request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com or contact Apple Support. Eligibility, amounts, and timing follow Apple's process and applicable law. We cannot promise or approve a refund on Apple's behalf. This does not restrict consumer remedies available to you by law.

If paid access is missing, try Restore Purchases, then contact Dosia Support if needed. Do not send payment card details, your Apple password, or unnecessary health records. See Apple's refund guidance.

Privacy, data, and backups

Our Privacy Policy describes information handling. Core tracking does not require a Dosia account. Health records are stored locally by default; optional iCloud sync uses the private iCloud database under your own Apple Account. Purchase and entitlement verification are separate from health-record storage.

Before changing devices, uninstalling, or clearing data, check sync status and keep important records using available export and backup tools. iCloud sync does not guarantee recovery from every deletion or corruption; deletions may also sync. Disabling sync or uninstalling does not automatically delete an existing iCloud copy; manage it through Apple's iCloud storage settings.

You retain your rights to content you enter. These Terms do not give us the right to sell health records or replace any separate system permission or privacy consent that is required.

Reminders and availability

Reminders, widgets, sync, purchases, and access refreshes depend on permissions, Focus settings, background scheduling, networks, device conditions, and Apple services. They may be delayed or unavailable. Keep an independent way to check important medication schedules rather than relying solely on the app.

We maintain and improve the service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may vary by version, region, or platform. For a material reduction or discontinuation of paid services, we will give advance notice where feasible and address unfulfilled paid obligations under applicable law. These Terms do not allow arbitrary removal of paid access without legally required remedies.

Acceptable use and ownership

Dosia's software, design, trademarks, and original content belong to their respective owners. Apart from your own content, use of the service does not transfer intellectual property rights. Software licensing restrictions are set out in the applicable Apple Standard EULA; open-source components remain subject to their own licenses.

Do not use the services for unlawful, fraudulent, infringing, or privacy-invasive activity; forge purchases; bypass payment verification; attack systems; or disrupt services. Statutory exceptions, including permitted interoperability or security research, remain unaffected. We may restrict connected services to the extent necessary to address serious abuse. This does not replace Apple's subscription cancellation process or remove our legal obligations.

Liability and consumer rights

To the extent allowed by applicable law, services are provided in their available condition, and records and estimates may contain errors. We do not guarantee weight changes, treatment effectiveness, or medical outcomes. The applicable EULA also addresses software warranties and liability.

Any disclaimer or liability restriction applies only where lawful. It does not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded, including protected personal injury claims, fraud, intentional misconduct or gross negligence, or mandatory consumer guarantees, refunds, compensation, and other remedies.

Updates and disputes

We may update these Terms for changes to features, law, or services, and will show the date here. For material changes affecting paid benefits or important rights, we will give appropriate advance notice and seek consent where legally required. Updates do not retroactively remove accrued legal rights.

Please contact us first about a dispute so we can try to resolve it. These Terms do not require you to waive complaints to regulators, proceedings in a competent court, or mandatory protections in your place of residence. If a provision is invalid, the rest remains effective where lawful. English and Chinese versions aim to express the same meaning; differences are interpreted under applicable law without reducing consumer rights based on language choice.
